The Butterfly Effect Plot
Evan Treborn matures in a tiny community along with his solitary, working mother and his close friends. He is affected with memory blackouts in which he all of the sudden finds himself somewhere else, confused. Evan's buddies and mom hardly believe him, believing he makes it up just to get out of trouble. As Evan develops he has less of these blackouts until he has recovered. Since age 7 he has written a record of his blackout instances so he can remember what occurs. One day at college he starts to read one of his older diaries, and suddenly a flashback strikes him just like a brick!
